# Pricing — Formwave

Formwave (https://formwave.ai) uses prepaid credits. There is **no subscription**.

- Price per generation: **$0.05 (5¢)** — one generation = one new sound sample or sound effect (44.1 kHz WAV)
- Free credit: **every new account starts with $5 (100 generations)**
- Payment: one-time credit top-ups via Stripe
- Sign-in: Google, Apple, or Facebook (free account)

Custom top-up amounts are also supported in-app.

## Signup bonus

- New accounts signing up via https://formwave.ai/?bonus=LAUNCH25 receive **an extra $25 in credits (≈ 500 generations)** on top of the $5 free credit. One bonus per account.

## What a generation includes

- Text prompt + optional negative prompt
- Up to 3 reference sounds, each with independent timbre and melody weights
- Key/chord and BPM/bars controls (loops) or duration (one-shots and sound effects)
- Output: downloadable 44.1 kHz WAV — a loop, one-shot, or sound effect (SFX)

## Notes

- Unused credits don't expire.
- The in-app billing screen (https://formwave.ai) is the source of truth if this file and the app ever disagree.
